It’s Song-Time Sunday Again, Isn’t It?

Yikes, this week flew by.  I’m glad to report that I’m starting to feel really positive about the direction my Div III is taking.  Little by little, things are starting to come together!  It’s very exciting.

Because I’ve got quite a few things to accomplish today, and because this is actually one of my favorite things ever, I’m going to be giving you a tarantella without lyrics.  It’s the very popular “Tarantella Napoletana,” and it’s still danced at Italian-American weddings and other get-togethers.

At some point, probably after my show, I’d like to do a write-up on my ideas about tarantism and the various kinds of tarantelle.  It’s really fascinating stuff, and as someone who lives with two spiders (the boyfriend has had them for years, and now they hang out in my bedroom), and who actually really loves spiders and mysticism and weird psychoses, I am really drawn to it.

But that’s for a time when I’m not concentrating on other Div III stuff.  For now, happy dancing!
